Blessing/Prayers

I put blessings and prayers around the house prior to drywalling (the same day I did insulation). Thanks to a fellow blogger for the idea...I LOVED IT! Here are a few that I used:

Office: Whatever work you do, do it with all your heart. Do it for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23) NLT
Guest Bedroom: In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, will keep me safe (Psalms 4:8) NLT

Above Pantry: He gives food to those that fear him; he always remember his covenant (Psalms 111:5) NLT
Master Bedroom: Be a place with lots of little feet: Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him (Psalms 127:3) NLT
FYI- i want another child

Laundry Room

Dining Room: May God meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19) NIV

Living Room

Garage Door Exit and Front Door Exit: May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace (Numbers 6:24-26) NLT

Front Door: Let no sadness come through this gate. Let no trouble come into this dwelling. Let no fear come through this door. Let no conflict in this place. Let this home be filled with the blessings of joy and peace.

  4. Such a great idea that I need to share with my wife (thanks to whoever originally came up with it!). We're building a different floor plan in MD, but I've learned all these bloggers (including you) post great tips. I've already mentioned the sound proofing idea and shown my wife your pics. We currently rent and you can hear every toilet being flushed. Our apartment in FL had soundproofing throughout so we never heard our neighbors (or toddler on the other side of the apartment). Thanks for blogging your journey!

  6. The person to start this ritual on the blog name is Emily (Ravenna Rant). I loved it so much I did it and than each person started following this ritual. It is so powerful. It took me three days to cover each room with more than three scriptures per room. Plus on the fireplace, under kitchen counter tops, on each step of the house, the wet bar ( you name it it is there)!!

    Awesome, Pinkrage!
