1/2/13- RiteRug Meeting

I met with RiteRug to pick out tile, flooring and granite. During the meeting, I was reminded of why I hate building. There are too many decisions and everything is an upgrade!

So here is what we decided on:

Vinyl that will be used in laundry and secondary baths- Initiator 66204
Carpet upgraded- Collinsville 100 Sahara (stain guard)

Close up of master bathroom tile. Changed border to longer tiles.
Stratford Place Willow Branch 12 x 12 tiles and Listello 4 row border
Master granite-??? Don't see color name

Hardwoods in Kitchen, Dining and Morning Room- Turlington Cherry
                                                          Cabinets- Cherry Bordeaux
                                                        Kitchen Granite- Santa Cecilia

  2. I saw on another blog that you were reconsidering your flooring upgrade...I'd think about what kind of wear you expect to get before you make that decision. My husband and I considered not upgrading, but we wouldn't be able to afford re-doing the carpet very soon and we have a cat and two very active sons under 5. So for us it was worth it, even if it wasn't the most inexpensive option. The stain guard was what made us do the one upgrade. And I have to say, I haven't had any problems with the quality of the carpet so far...but then it's only been a week. :)

Just thought I'd put that out there!

    1. Amanda- we went on a search this morning checking to see if hardwoods or carpet would be cheaper installed after the fact...not the case. Therefore, we left both our hardwood and upgraded carpet selection. Thanks for your input!
